#CTFringe: From West End smash hit to Cape Town sensation, The Gruffalo is in town!

The Gruffalo is selling out faster than you can say ‘nut map’! Delighting audiences of all ages, it is a pleasure to behold.

It is an enchanting production, powered by the energy of kidlet-giggles that ripple through the room, as they respond to the characters on stage. The characters are all charmingly brought to life by the acting skills of Nombasa Ngoqo, Ayanda Nondlwana, and Sisonke Yafele, under direction of Tara Notcutt and with choreography by Cleo Notcutt. Such talent on show against an exquisitely colourful story-book type set design is a winning recipe for a great CT Fringe experience.

This version of The Gruffalo stays true to the vision of writers Julia Donadlson and Axel Scheffler (as original book brought to stage in the West End version), with that special added touch of amazing South African charm and energy. Uniquely local but still authentically Gruffalo!
