Bianca le Grange (Blood Brothers, Idols 2004) is the Narrator, and multiple award-winning actor Jonathan Roxmouth (Sweeney Todd, The Phantom of the Opera, CATS, Sunset Boulevard, A Handful of Keys, I`m Playing Your Song) is Pharoah. From humble beginnings, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat has gone on to become one of the most recognized musical productions worldwide. The show has won Tony, Olivier and Drama Desk Awards and has a place in The Guinness Book of Records for the world`s longest running touring musical. The first production in South African was presented in the 1970`s starring Richard Loring (The Narrator), Alvon Collison, (Pharaoh) and Bruce Millar (Joseph). The production in 2004|2005 was another first - the beginning of an on-going tradition of `bonsai` musicals conceptualised by Pieter Toerien for audiences at his theatres in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Now, ten years later, this outstanding family favourite is back-bigger and bolder than ever before and features favourite hit songs like ‘Go, Go, Go Joseph’, ‘Any Dream Will Do’, ‘Close Every Door To Me’ and ‘One More Angel In Heaven’.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is at Theatre on the Bay in Camps Bay from 12 August to 5 November 2016. Performances from Monday to Friday run at 8pm, on Saturdays at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm and on Sundays at 2:30pm and 8pm. Tickets cost from R95 to R350 via Computicket, 08619158000, and 0214383301.
