THE FUGARD THEATRE ANNOUNCES IT’S OWN CABARET FOR MARCH 2015

The Team that produced The Rocky Horror Show is to present the Fugard Theatre’s sensational Cabaret in Cape Town in 2015.

Eric Abraham and the Fugard Theatre proudly present Kander, Ebb and Masteroff’s scintillating Tony award-winning musical Cabaret.

From the creators and producers of the Fugard Theatre’s Smash Hit Musical The Rocky Horror Show comes one of Broadway’s greatest Musical productions – Cabaret.

The Fugard Theatre looks forward to welcoming you to the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where the Emcee, Sally Bowles and the raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalise the crowd and to entice them to leave their troubles outside. But as the life of pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through the dangerous times?

Come and hear some of the most memorable songs in musical theatre history, including “Cabaret”, “Wilkommen” and “Tomorrow Belongs To Me”.

Cabaret, directed by Matthew Wild with Musical Direction by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder and Choreography by Louisa Talbot, is John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff’s Tony Award-Winning Musical about following your heart while the world loses its way.

The production opens at the Fugard Theatre on the 10th March 2015 and bookings are now open via the Fugard Theatre box office and Computicket.

The Fugard Theatre will also open their own Kit Kat Klub in the Fugard Annex across the road from the Fugard Theatre where patrons will be able to kick back, relax and enjoy the best hospitality, drinks and delicious meals in true decadent Cabaret style. The Fugard’s Kit Kat Klub, formerly the Cage Bordello, will be open to patrons before and after every performance – and will offer a fabulous opportunity to enjoy sultry cabaret numbers while being served by the gorgeous waiters and waitresses.
