Press Release: El Grande de Coca Cola at The Rosebank Theatre (22 - 31 Dec)

This comedy cabaret deals with Pepe Hernandez, wannabe theatre impresario in Honduras (or thereabouts), who, after obtaining a sponsorship from a soft drink company , decides to stage a cabaret with his inexperienced family as cast - with hilarious consequences.

The Company:

The play is staged by Anex Theatre Productions, a company that was awarded the prize for Best Production at the Fugard Festival in Nieu-Bethesda two years in a row. The company has also successfully staged productions at the NAF - `Global Ballgame` as part of the Assitej Family Festival in 2012 and `2xBeckett` in 2013.

`El Grande de Coca Cola` opened its Festive season run during November at the Dorpstreet Theatre outside Stellenbosch.
